A Little Nug for Ya'

(Anytime my friends and I have a good verse, or something that we want to share with each other we call it a nugget which got shorten to Nug. So I will be sharing "nugs" on my blog.)

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,
but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary,
but what is unseen is
eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:18

The Weekend

This weekend was such a great weekend. Mom came in town and we went to the Beth Moore Simulcast at the church that I have been attending the past few months. It was SO great! We both learned alot. I really enjoyed being with Mom and this was the first time that I saw Beth Moore "Live" and I love Her!

Here is a picture of me and Mom before the Simulcast Friday Night

Saturday afternoon Mom went home and I just hungout with some friends.

Jen's Co-Worker Estee invited us to Friends and Family day at her church. We went there this morning. It was followed by a yummy covered dish lunch.

Our Advisor in Zeta has this great chair that everytime I go to her house I tell her how much I love this chair. Today she called and said she was getting rid of the chair, Did I want this Chair? HECK YEA! I went to go get it... Do yall love it? I think that chair will look great in my next apartment/trailer (Wherever I might be.)

Light at the End of the Tunnel

We started our first day of class on Monday. I have been dealing with making sure classes from Jacksonville have transferred to make sure that I am good to graduate in December.

GOOD NEWS!
Light at the end of the Tunnel! I am and It feels so good. This is my last semester living in Jacksonville, which is kinda weird. I am so excited to see what the Lord is going to do and where the Lord will have me to be come December. I have loved hair school and I truly feel that this is exactly where the Lord wants me.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

4 Tooth Brushes= We are ALL home at 410
and ready for the Fall Semester.

This summer has been such a crazy summer for all of us. We took classes, got a new roommate, were all in and out of the house and in and out of Jacksonville from going Home, and trips. So going into the bathroom tonight made me happy to see all 4 toothbrushes.

Feels Like Rush to Me

This weekend I am helping out with Rush. I absolutely love Rush! I have always thought that it was one of the best parts about being in a Sorority. It is very cheesy but so much fun. One of my pledge sisters/ college roommate, Janele, is coming in town tonight to help out too and I look foward to spending time with her.

Here is an old picture of me and Janele during Rush 2006, yep I was a Raisin and she was a Break Dancer.

Rip what you Sew

Today was a raining day, a perfect day to sew. I enjoy sewing and am trying to learn to sew. I got my first sewing machine for Christmas this past year.

Mom is doing some window treatments and I thought it would be fun to do an apron. The first one didn't take very long and it turned out cute, so I thought I would make a couple more and give to friends as gifts. (So, if any of my friends are reading this, don't be surprised if you open up your next gift from me and its one of these.)

(Thanks to Mom for Modeling!)

Auburn for the Day

We went to Auburn for Mom's Birthday. It was just easier for us to head there and celebrate since Bo and Caroline are both there. We all went to Church of the Highlands and then out to eat Pizza at Brick Oven (which was delicious).

(Me, Mom, Dad, Caroline, Jeff (Caroline's BF) and Bo)

After Brick Oven, we went to see Bo's new town home, and Caroline's new apt. then we went to go check out some possible future homes for me. So, I have been THINKING about possibly moving to Auburn in December. I graduate in December and since Mom and Dad don't really know where they might be, Caroline and Bo are both in Auburn, Auburn just kinda makes sense.
While flipping through some Apartment Guides I came across a very very cheap "home." I want to live by myself, so this "home" is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath for $300 a month, not only does it include washer/dryer it also includes 2 axles and a set of tires! Yep, I'm looking at the possibility of becoming a resident of the Barron Trailer Park. Don't really know yet, just checking it all out. I will keep yall posted.
